Road Cycling Holidays Summer 2020 – Dates & Prices

The Aravis mountains are home to Bike Weekender’s base in the Northern French Alps, and here our weekend and short-break road cycling holidays are available as ‘Classic’ (fully supported) and ‘Lite’ (self guided) packages.

They run on a Thursday – Monday weekend format (4-day long weekend) and are available to book for individuals, couples and groups of any size – no minimum numbers required.

Both options include half-board accommodation and your airport transfers via Geneva at set times.

Custom Road Cycling Holidays for Groups and Clubs

We can also provide Custom Bike Weekender breaks for groups of 6 or more to Mont Ventoux, Alpe d’Huez, and St Tropez-Côte d’Azur based on our 4-day Classic weekend format, but more tailored to your group’s requirements. *

Alternatively, if you’re looking for something a bit more specialised for your group or club trip, at any location on any date between May – October, we can devise a bespoke road cycling holiday based on your unique specifications too.

Bike Weekender Road Cycling Holiday Calendar – Summer 2020

As a result of the ongoing coronavirus situation, and the resulting restrictions to travel, all of our cycling holidays in May, June and July have now sadly been cancelled.

We have a tentative date for the re-scheduled Tour de France ‘watch and ride’ weekend in September, which will be confirmed once we know the travel ban has been lifted, and we feel confident it is safe to proceed.

Full Package Details, Deposit, Travel, Bike Hire Options, How to Book

The package price for all Bike Weekender breaks includes half-board accommodation in a cycling-oriented hotel, airport transfers to and from your riding base, plus the support of a friendly and dedicated local team for route planning and directions.

In addition, ‘Classic’ breaks include full vehicle support and assistance on rides, so you can focus on enjoying your riding and the stunning scenery, whilst we take care of the rest!

All prices are per person, based on 2 people sharing a twin / double room. Sole occupancy of a double room is available at a supplement, please contact us for more details.

Quality road bike hire is possible as an option on all breaks, from £140 per person (4 days’ hire).

For bookings made 7 weeks or more before arrival, we ask for a £150 per person deposit to secure reservation. The trip balance (and any bike hire costs) are then payable 6 weeks before arrival, or upon booking for more last-minute reservations.
