Comments from our guest book
“Just wanted to send a note to say a huge thank you for your efforts over the last 4 days. We had a fantastic time – brilliant routes and support and great memories of our long weekend with you.” Zack Hocking, June 2018 (Aravis and Annecy)
“Just to say I really enjoyed the long weekend, it was exactly what I was hoping for; the organisation, the rides, the food and the weather, an excellent combination. I hope to come along again next year. ” John Bowden, June 2018 (Aravis and Annecy)
“Just thought I’d drop you a quick note to say how much myself and Neil thoroughly enjoyed last weekend being looked after by your team. The experience was even better than we could have hoped for – everything was perfect and we couldn’t fault a single thing. From the moment we were picked up at Geneva until the moment we were dropped back off was fantastic. Pre-break information was superb. Transfers, accommodation, food, route information was all spot on.” Nigel Cooke, May 2018 (Aravis and Annecy)
“Just wanted to say a massive thank you for an amazing weekend. Myself and the guys had a fabulous time. We honestly couldn’t fault anything, and definitely look forward to meeting you guys again for another weekend of pain! I will be recommending Bike weekender to as many people as possible. You have a fabulous set up.” Nick Ball – June 2017 (Aravis and Annecy)
“A note from John/ David / James and Alan to thank you for a great break in Provence – the riding was superb, your support top quality and you even organised the weather. We will hope to book the Alps or Cote D’Azur next year. Have a great summer and ride safely. Thanks again.” May 2017 (Mont Ventoux and Provence)
“Thank you for another great week. Super support and flexibility with great company and fine food! Can’t wait to come back. See you in Jan for skiing.” Duncan Hardy – August 2016
“Just wanted to send you all a quick Thank You for a great weekend spent with you all. From the moment our group landed at Geneva airport to when we left there was nothing that was too much trouble. The bikes supplied were first class, all in great condition and welcoming with the 32 rear cassettes, especially for all the fantastic mountain routes you suggested. The food at the hotel was outstanding, far better then what any of us could have imagined. Please pass this onto the chef, she was brilliant. We have already spoken as a group that we need to return and take in some more of the TDF climbs – oh not forgetting those caffeine gels – WOW do they work! Thank you all again and look forward to seeing you soon.” ~ Steve P, June 2016 (Aravis and Annecy)
“Just back from a fantastic 4 day cycling weekend with bikeweekender.com, which meant we could cram in 3.5 days cycling into the long weekend, taking just 2 days off work. The location was superb with easy access to lots of classic Tour de France Cols and the team were great helping us plan routes to fit our ability. You get a real sense of achievement in climbing Cols such as Aravis and Colombière knowing the Tour has been up these many time before and you can bask in some smugness at the mountain top café as you watch the motorbikes go by knowing you did it the hard way!
What we really liked about bikeweekender though was the way they made sure you had a great trip, with nothing to think about except the cycling. From picking us up at the airport in the minibus, to providing amazing breakfasts/dinners, everything was just easy (except the cycling!) Thanks again and hopefully see you again to climb some old favourites and explore some new ones.” ~ Jeremy and Jim, June 2016 (Aravis and Annecy)
“We had a great time and loved the mix of Provence and the Alps. We all agreed that would happily have all our dinners in the Provence warmth and sun given a choice…that was such a treat! However, we couldn’t agree on the best riding – and some of our group rated the loops and Provence rides their favourite, but for me I loved the riding in the Alps and the Aravis Loop was a cracking day. One of my best on a bike! Hope to be back soon.” Harvey Group – July 2015
